Club organization

The work of the club is led by the Executive Committee, which is responsible for the club's activities. Representatives from the different sections form a section council, which acts as a link between members and the board.

As a club, Öijared aims to be one of the foremost in Sweden, and to invest long-term in a qualitative activity for each interest group in order to promote the sport of golf, create well-being among members and create a social commitment and network.

Board of Directors

Öijared GK is led by the board, which has overall responsibility for the club's activities.
The board meets about 10 times a year.

Junior and elite section

The Elite Committee shall work towards:

  • To have two established Elite League teams, men's and women's, by which is meant teams that have the ability to come top five in the Elite League (team SM)
  • Getting top three in Gothenburg's highest division
  • That the players are a role model both inside and outside the club
  • That the players feel proud to belong to and represent Öijared GK and thereby see it as a matter of course to support the club in various contexts
  • That the teams primarily consist of players who are raised in the club and not to recruit players but of course welcome players who want to come to the club on their own initiative
  • That the players, regardless of results, should feel that they have learned things that they can use throughout their lives by being involved in Öijared GK's elite activities.
