The New Course

Beautiful views along the lake on our second 18-hole course. The course's forest and park environment will put your precision in the long shots to the test.

The influx of players at weekends increased rapidly in the early years. Although the complete 18-hole course The Old Course , had only been in use for a year and a half, plans for a further 18 holes began to be mooted as early as 1967. On September 12, 1970, The New Course was inaugurated and Öijared became the country's first 36-hole facility.

Map of Öijared 18-hole course named Nya course

A traditional Swedish golf course, which has hosted the Öijared Ladies Open on the Telia Tour for many years.

The New Course is an open forest and park course of varying character where each hole has its own room. The course places particular demands on the precision of the long shots and is considered both medium and medium difficult.

Orange tee is intended as an alternative for those who want to try playing a slightly shorter course. The course has a slope for ladies also from the Orange tee, which means that rounds from here can be hcp-based just like other rounds. At most competitions on The New Course , you who are a lady and turn 70 or more have the opportunity to choose the Orange tee instead of red. Feel free to try playing from the Orange tee and let us know how you experienced it.
