Old banana

The Old Course is our most modern, oldest and most challenging course with a high class finish. In 1965, the 18-hole course was completed and in 2008 it was reopened with a brand new and exciting design by Pierre Fulke.

Just over a year after the decision to build golfcourse , the first 9-hole course opened in May 1960. The course had been designed by Douglas Brasier, in his day a sought-after course architect and established instructor. The first sketches were drawn on brown wrapping paper. On September 18, 1965, a completed 18-hole course was inaugurated.

In 2006, Pierre Fulke redesigned the course, with a new layout and extensive changes to the greens, bunkers and fairways. The reopening of the course took place in 2008 in connection with the club's 50th anniversary.

The Old Course at Öijared Resort is a modern and challenging 18-hole course outside Gothenburg

The course has a challenging layout with good finish and is one of West Sweden's most challenging courses. On each tee you get a nice presentation of the hole and the greens are single cut and rolled to maintain the highest quality. The Old Course has many challenges where the most prominent are the undulating green areas, the strategically placed bunkers and the challenge of keeping the ball away from the highest rough.

Book a start time

Choose from our three 18-hole courses and our Multi course for golf, footgolf and frisbee golf. Here you will find everything you need to book a tee time and equipment.

All bookings are made via Sweetspot, which you can reach most easily via the app. You can also book directly online.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

All games on our courses are booked on your own and you are responsible for ensuring that the booking rules are followed. The purpose is to be able to trace all bookings to a booking owner.

Cancellation and No-Show
If you wish to cancel, this must be done no later than three hours before the start time. A player who is canceled later than three hours before the start will be charged a fee of SEK 300. The green fee paid will only be refunded if the cancellation is made more than three hours before the start time.

Primetime
We have introduced primetime on the Old Course and New Course on weekends between 08.00-14.00. During these times, you as a member can have a maximum of one simultaneous booking. Every hour during Primetime there is a start time XX:50 or XX:53 that can only be booked 48 hours in advance and only for full members. If the time is not booked, it becomes available to everyone at 00.01 on the same day.

Green fees
When it comes to green fees, we apply dynamic pricing for our tee times. The price is determined by the time of the season, day of the week and what time of day you as a guest want to play. You will find the current price in the starting time schedule.

This is to spread out our guest play and increase the availability of our courses. All green fees are prepaid at the time of booking by the booker and time will be released if payment is not made within three hours of the booking being made. As a member (not a green fee member), you always have a discount for your guests when they play with you and are booked by you. You can read more about this under each membership.

Paid green fees are only refunded if canceled more than three hours before the start time and are then made automatically when you cancel. Playing without a paid green fee results in a fee of SEK 2000 per person. The violation will also be reported to the player's home club. We carry out regular green fee checks on our courses. A discounted green fee price cannot be combined with further discounts.

Arrival registration
Arrival registration must be done before the start. All start times that are not registered will be charged with SEK 300 per person. Arrival registration can be done either directly in the app or on site at the reception. Personal arrival registration applies, i.e. you cannot register an entire ball yourself. You can register in the app when you are within 500 meters of the clubhouse. However, no earlier than three hours before your start time.

Group bookings
A group booking includes at least two start times.

We are happy to help you with group bookings and then add SEK 100 / person in advance booking fee. This is due to increased administration and that these bookings go outside the current booking rules.
The guest to member discount only applies when you book yourself via Sweetspot.

The booker must submit a complete list of names, golf IDs and starting order of all participants at least one week before the game.

NOTE! We do not make group bookings at Primetime (Old and New Course 08.00-14.00 weekends) other than for hotel guests.

We recommend that one person pays for everyone on site by card.

If you are a group where the number is not divisible by 4 (full start times), we allow 3 people in the balls at no extra cost in addition to the usual pre-booking fee of SEK 100 / person. If you want to block all seats in a ball to avoid bringing more players, we only allow it if you play a single match in Öijared Sommarcup.

Start time optimization
To increase the availability of our courses, we reserve the right to merge start times during periods of high pressure. Your start time will never be brought forward and at most we move times 20 minutes. When moving the start time, you will receive an email and a notification in the sweetspot app.

Golf hosts
During weekends and other busy times, golf hosts are on the course to help keep the game running smoothly. Their main task is to ensure that everyone has a good time on the course, but they also have the authority to dismiss players who do not follow golf etiquette and rules. The golf host has a first aid kit with him.

You can reach our golf hosts at 0000000000 on the following days and times.
Fridays 13.30-18.30
Saturdays 08.30-18.00
Sundays 09.00-14.00.

V Sport golf card
Holders of the V Sport golf card receive a 40% discount on the green fee you prepaid when booking in Sweetspot. The refund is made automatically when you show your card at the reception.

Introductory cards such as SGF, PGA, SGA, GAF etc
As a holder of an introductory card from the above organizations or similar, you are welcome to visit our facility. Any discount is normally granted once a year and the request must be made no later than the day before play.

Golfhäftet
Not valid in Öijared.

Hcp limits for guest play
On the Park Course and New Course, the limit for guest play is hcp 54 and on the Old Course hcp 36. Pay-and-play games are referred to the Multi Course. It is open to everyone, even those who do not have a green card. Keep in mind that you must book time on the Multi Course as well.

9-hole green fee
We do not offer a specific 9-hole green fee on our 18-hole courses. Nowadays, we have adjusted the prices of the tee times so that it is possible to play half rounds at an attractive price in the late afternoon when it is difficult to get 18 holes in.

Golfvett
Course work always takes precedence. If course workers are within range, show that you are ready and wait for the go-ahead before hitting. Never test swing in the direction of course workers or other players. Parties that do not keep their place on the court are required to immediately let the trailing party through. Faster parties should always be let through. When searching for a ball, the party behind must be waved through after 30 seconds if the ball has not been found. The person with the lowest handicap in the playing party is responsible for ensuring that the participants observe golf etiquette/safety and that play is not unnecessarily delayed. Members are similarly responsible for their guests. Players who do not follow these simple principles of golf etiquette may be dismissed from the course.

Care of the course
All players are expected to show care of the course and repair at least one tee mark per green. Torn up turfs must be repositioned and trampled. This is to ensure that the course is in good condition when you next visit us.

Dogs on the course
It is allowed to bring a dog on a leash on all courses at Öijared. The dog must be able to participate without disturbing other players and that the person who has a dog with them picks up after the dog, we see as a matter of course. If someone in the ball does not want the dog to come along, the person who has a dog with them can back out and book in at another time.

Clothing
We have a simple philosophy when it comes to the dress code. Clothes should be whole and clean. No shirtless play is allowed.

Cancellation of round due to thunderstorms
If you are forced to cancel your round due to thunderstorms, we will not refund any money. If you arrive at the reception within two hours of your tee time in the event of thunderstorms, we offer vouchers equivalent to half the fee you paid for your 18-hole round.

Unplayable course due to heavy rain
If you are forced to cancel your round because the greens are flooded with water, we will not refund any money. If you arrive at the reception within two hours of your tee time when the greens are flooded, we offer vouchers equivalent to half the fee you paid for your 18-hole round.

In case of frost
In case of frost, all times are postponed. The reception staff will announce when it is ok to play. We do our best to anticipate the frost and then block times to reduce the risk of postponement of booked times.
