Our elite teams this year consist of Amanda Teodorsson, Sara Hägglund, Pia Evertsson, Anna Wallman, Ulrika Johansson, Fanny Stenborg, Niklas Lemke, Kevin Bengtsson, Johan Uhlin, Hugo Phillips, Alex Västhav, Oscar Lund, Pontus Bodin.
The birdie hunt works as follows:
We count all birds (birdies, eagles, albatross) and
HIO's players in the club's two elite teams do in ranking-based individual
competitions or in the team competitions Gothenburg series and National series game
during the period May 15 - Sept 30.
If you want the chance to win SEK 10,000 in gift cards in the
shop and at the same time support our talented elite players, register at this
link and then guess the total number of "birds" you think the players will come up to
together.
The 10 people who guessed the best in the number of total
"birds" are then entered into the draw for the prize of SEK 10,000 in the golf shop.
When the period ends on Sept. 30, you donate SEK 1 per
"bird" the players made and SEK 100 per HIO, however, a maximum of SEK 1000.
Companies are also welcome to support in the same way and then put SEK 5 for
each made "bird". Contact club manager Lars Brydolf for more
details if you are interested as a business owner.

Our objective
The Elite Committee shall work towards:
- To have two established Elite League teams, men's and women's, by which is meant teams that have the ability to come top five in the Elite League (team SM)
- Getting top three in Gothenburg's highest division
- That the players are a role model both inside and outside the club
- That the players feel proud to belong to and represent Öijared GK and thereby see it as a matter of course to support the club in various contexts
- That the teams primarily consist of players who are raised in the club and not to recruit players but of course welcome players who want to come to the club on their own initiative
- That the players, regardless of results, should feel that they have learned things that they can use throughout their lives by being involved in Öijared GK's elite activities.
